any idea if they are doing member cards or something for discount rates this year? Think I remember seeing prices a bit high for town owned public a few months ago (could be wrong/confused)
Itâs definitely more expensive than Byrne which is right down Northfield, but i have a feeling that itâs like @CMPTosh said, the allure of it being one year off of âprivateâ conditions drew people to it. If they got 20k rounds at that price, i donât see it changing anytime soon.
Agreed. I expect the rates (and play #s) will be similar/same as this past season. Here are their rates, including season passes:
2020 Season Pass (March 1, 2020 â Dec 31, 2020) | Rate | Cart Fee |
---|---|---|
Single Adult | $3,900 | $17 |
Family (Adult + Household Dependents) | $5,400 | $17 |
Half Season Single Adult (July 2019 â Dec 31, 2019) | $2,195 | $17 |
Annual Cart Fee Plan | $750 | |
Annual Cart Fee Family Add-on (per person) | $750 |
Need 45 rounds to break even on that annual cart fee planâŚ
Thatâs unlimited play rages?
Iâd assumed that the $3,900 bought you unlimited golf, with the cart fee being paid on top of that for each round. Their winter rates are posted right now, but I think the non-twilight weekend rate was $75-80 last season, so yeah, youâre somewhere around 45-50 rounds to break even for just the pass. Itâs actually more rounds though, because youâll need to play some mid-week golf which is somewhat less/round.
Unfortunately, thereâs no way I can get out that much, personally.
Even if i played 50 rounds in a year, i wouldnât want them all to be at the same track.
Anyone know what theyâre doing to it?
Weird⌠thats off the side of 8 green next to cart path. I guess you could add a bunker there? Not sure what else they could be doing.
Hopefully
Not adding a cart path
Might just be some turf repair? Seems like a pointless spot to put money into though
Golf courses do dumb things
Looks like drainage and sod work
My guess is sod and drainage repair. You canât change the weather⌠but they started having some noticeable water issues towards the end of the summer/beginning of fall. I know that one spot off of 9 fairway just past the bunker on the right⌠shit was a legit swamp.
Then donât hit it there
-GUI whoâs hit it there
It seems you already know how this gui discovered said swamp.
I replied to their IG postâŚitâs drainage improvement around 8th (I think) green
Speaking of Rock Spring⌠60 degrees Monday and theyâre open for business⌠hmmmm. Sick day?
Already have the day off for post Super Bowl recovery purposes. I could be convincedâŚ
Anyone looking for a round Sunday? High of 57. Should prob get on booking something if anyone is interested.
