Honestly I hated gross the one time I played it. I was also 13 and thought that every course with “National” in the name was supposed to be amazing.

No wonder you were let down. The design isn’t great, the conditions arent fantastic and I would have a hard time paying full price but for a twilight round that is midweek it is perfect.

So, if I am understanding this correctly (I’m still semi new here) the refuge has a president but does the MN contingent have senators? congressmen/women? A mayor? Does any of this matter?

I’m all in for this. I have a hard time talking my buddies into playing different formats when we’re playing during the weekends. Scotch-4somes, alt-shot, Wolf (never played but think it would be fun), scramble, 4-club. Traveling Emergency 9 league, Bi-weekly?, Meadowbrooke, Braemar, Brookeview, Keller for the northern burb Refugees?

I’m open to any and all of those options. How is Les after the rerouting? Haven’t played there since they had the “9th hole” on that practice green while the par 3 8th was shutdown.
No idea on Les, haven’t played it in years. Hopefully it comes back around, because it is in a pretty convenient location.
Maybe we can have it rotate to accommodate the fugees all over the metro?
I’d also be in for weekend destination stuff like Troy Burne, Legends, etc.

I would say its pretty clear, that we have west and east metro refugees so it might be hard to accommodate both sides in a weekly game but there is plenty of us and tons of opportunities for weekend rounds.
