@chefcycle and I are playing our match at Keller on Friday the 9th as a little warm up to the NSS. Room for two more at 2:12. Let me know if you’re interested.

My family went to Vi’s after our first day driving up and playing a twilight 18 on Quarry in a little fog/mist. That pizza felt like a godsend to us cold/tired/hungry golfers.

Do we have the result @Mystic @JT_Sing?

Keller is yet again the low handicaps demise, I was able to net par my way around to a 3/2 win.

I was on the wrong end of 14 shots again at Keller. @Mystic closed me out 3 & 2. We got around in just over 4 hours and barely saw the group behind us. Its was a very enjoyable walk!

Random question… Can anyone suggest a trustworthy diamond/jewelry wholesaler in the Minneapolis area? Someone is starting to hunt for engagement ring and would really appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you in advance.

I’ve got a guy in St Paul, or at least he used to have a storefront there. Haven’t been in the office in forever so don’t know if he is there anymore, but I can give you his number?

If you make it to Fortune Bay, check out Poor Gary’s Pizza at The Vermillion Club a couple miles away!

Love the Vermillion Club. And The Gargantuan. IYKYK

Oh, and if you play The Wilderness, the food in the golf course restaurant - The Wilderness Grill - is amazing. From the wings to the burger to the fillet!

Long shot here. From Chattanooga, TN and gonna be in Duluth on Sunday the 11th of July and wanted to see if any kind souls on here were willing to host me at Northland. Super impressed by the crash course on it. Looks like a stern challenge and I am a glutton for punishment on the golf course. Hit me up.

Yeah, if you want to join me at 3:30pm, I’ll host.

Anybody else interested in filling out the group, shoot me a DM.

Poor Gary’s has a spot in Biwabik as well, only a few miles from Giant’s Ridge. I’m still a fan of Vi’s over Poor Gary’s, but you can’t go wrong.

It was an absolute scorcher but had a great time at StoneRidge today, played at 7:30 with @charvey @aspoiledwalk and Kyle (sorry I forget your Refuge handle). What an awesome course! Enjoyed myself greatly despite having my worst round scoring-wise in years (including a 10 on #17, siiick). The rest of the guis in the group were playing a completely different game than your boy.

@aspoiledwalk striping it on the Farmhouse hole.

Kyle launching it - this dude hits the ball a country mile.

Host @charvey preparing for liftoff on #18.

2/2 for super fun rounds with the MN Contingent - can’t wait to see you all at the NSS this weekend!

Don’t know what it is, but I always play well at Madden’s. Shot my low round of the season out there yesterday and the course was in such killer shape! Got a big group Ryder Cup style outing in Brainerd this September, and I can’t wait to get back up there.:ok_hand:t2:

I forget who recommended it (sorry!) but played The Jewel yesterday out in Lake City and it was wonderful! Really fun design, course is in great shape!

Highly recommend it, worth the drive.

Hard to beat this deal going on up at Giant’s Ridge - both courses are usually $109 on the weekend! Just shuffled some times around for my trip next weekend and Mark at the pro shop was happy to accommodate.

I just played the 36 hole deal Monday. Both courses were in amazing shape. I think there was some sadistic challenge going at the quarry as the pins were in brutal locations. As always it was a lot of fun though if you accept your going to get your ass kicked.

Anyone want to play Hiawatha Friday morning around 7ish?
