The reply I received from bob@mngolf.org was that we should be seeing an invoice at some point in the near future.
Hey the 4 ball is a combined 12 or something. Any +2s out there want to pair with me?
Anyone else read Souhan’s column and chuck their coffee mug at a wall?
I’m loving the overall PGA Tour product more than I can ever recall. (NLU probably has a lot to do with that.) I don’t see or hear anyone labeling today’s stars as “the next Tiger” because 1. No one is even close to that status and 2. I don’t think we necessarily want another Tiger upon which of the fate of the sport became so dependent. I’ll take the current crop of star players over a single generational talent any day.
Breaking news…we’ve had a couple changes in 1st round matchups, due to a scheduling issue. @SBST will now be taking on @tjl_48, while @JT_Sing is now squaring off against @FairwayHank
Since we’re mere weeks away from the start of the season, just a reminder to all of who you have in Round 1:
There’s a thread on this subject if you get a membership, this would generate some discussion I would think.
Is still dependent.,
Never read Souhan
Have no fear. You’ll be ripping pelts outta that soccer field by the weekend.
Well then, we have our winner! Stillwater Oaks has the official crown of the Worst Golf Course in Minnesota. I’m not sure what else to say, definitely not what I was expecting.
Is it deserving of the crown? Why is it so bad?
Never have played it. Don’t intend to.
Conditioning, the 2nd par 5 on the front…
Alright, is it time to make the bracket of 64 to determine the greatest MN Sports Player of all time??? 4 regions; Football, Baseball, Hockey, Basketball. Up to the contingent on inclusion of Minneapolis Lakers and MN Northstars… include Lynx for basketball cause there for sure aren’t 16 great Wolves players haha
I was going to say that we gotta do something that isn’t golf related for this next one and you beat me to it! Other idea I had was food/restaurants but I’m clueless in that department.
I will probably “retire” after this bracket (unless you would like to do it!) because golf season is right around the corner and I don’t want to litter this thread with polls when that’s starting up.
I can certainly help out if you want, I started writing down names in a spreadsheet yesterday… The Wild and Wolves get thin QUICK, think I have a solid list for the Twins and Vikings…might need some old head input into the Northstars or something, otherwise, a lot of players from the last 10 years are making the Hockey region. The basketball one really doesn’t matter, cause we know who is winning that already.
If we were doing the greatest MN sports star for any two month stretch the answer would be Francisco Liriano. Those two months during his rookie campaign were ELECTRIC
Do Jalen Suggs, the Jones brothers, Chet and Kevin McHale count for basketball?
Other basketball additions KAT (I know it’s early but he is seriously special), Malik Seely (RIP, needs at least consideration given our terrible professional franchise) and Ricky Rubio (Him and Kevin Love actually almost got to the playoffs. Forget the exact year but there was a year we were 9th in the west and would have been like 7th in the East)
Again, in any other town, none of these names are considered for basketball but as a loyal T-Wolves fan, this is all I can offer.
formally entering Corey Brewer into the bracket. purely upon this dunk over fish alone.
still makes me smile.
And since he and Mo Williams are the only players with a 50 piece for the franchise, I agree with this nomination.
Sadly looking at this thumbnail, Al Jefferson should also be considered. Disappointed in myself for not getting that one…
