In the interest of full disclosure, I wouldn’t play an opponent in a meaningful match on their first round at Northland. It wouldn’t be very sporting.

Yeah, I missed the match play as well until this morning. Double wait list, Airbnb booked (luckily has a generous cancellation policy).

If we get up to 48 or even 64 for the match play I think we can make it work for all. People just need to commit to getting their matches in, which means every two weeks at the latest.
Tentative schedule for when rounds need to be completed:
May 29th - Round of 32
June 19th - Sweet 16
July 3rd - Elite 8
July 17th - North Star Shootout II (Final 4)

Would need 64 to avoid first-round byes but I’m optimistic. NSS was a sweepstakes last year

Didn’t cross post, but told the NE crew this event has me conflicted…living in SD, pay income tax to NE, play most weekly golf out of MN and live within reasonable walking distance of IA boarder.
Have not signed up on any qualifiers —esp MN as I knew you guys had the numbers. If you need a number to push to 48 or 64 down the road, glad to road trip north a couple times to meet and play.
