Roll Call - MN contingent? (Part 1)

I’m not mad you didn’t let me know you’d be up north, just disappointed.

Also The Legend would be better than The Quarry if it was walkable

you guys have a full foursome yet? would love to join!

The Legend might have some of the longest in-between hole cart rides I’ve ever had.

Played Legend and Quarry yesterday and Wilderness today.

All are tremendous values, it was my first time playing them.

Also played Grand National in Hinckley on the way up, solid course for $59 peak rate and a nice way to break up the drive.

Going from 16 green to 17 tee is about 6.5 miles.

After the first couple holes at Grand National I remember thinking man this course is being as hell, then you get away from the clubhouse and get some really interesting golf holes. Overall it’s a fun course and a fun overnight getaway from the cities, two rounds and some gambling.

How were the greens at both places? Hopefully have recovered since they got hit hard 2 summers ago. Also, grand national is great. 4 and 5 there are completely different from the rest of the course and remind me of the wilderness a little bit

Would have if we didn’t have 4!

That’s a bold take, I like the Legend but the Quarry blew my mind. Legend has a few meh holes whereas the Quarry has 18 great ones, IMO.

I think I’d lean Wilderness over the Legend too but I’m not 100% sure yet.

Legend was really soft too which may have factored in. Thr others wete a bit more firm and fast.

The greens were great, I was worried since I know they had winterkill 2 years back but they are fully recovered. You can still see spots of poa though, so it could certainly happen again.

I’d say they all rolled around 11.

We’ve got a double header booked for Tuesday at 4:20 at Stoneridge, with @bobs219 and @kirkeide1 playing their 8MBH match and @OnlyLayingUp and I playing our semifinal match.

Should be fun with only 1 stroke separating @OnlyLayingUp and I, with me getting the pop, as of today’s GHIN.

Cc: @charvey Are you still interested in Troy Burne Friday morning?

Also how bout you @OnlyLayingUp?

That would be 4 with you @SBST.

Fingers crossed that none of our golf courses washed away after the biblical rains last night/this morning

Yikes - should we pivot? Or roll the dice and just reschedule, if necessary?

I’m not sure. I mean if the course is closed tomorrow I’m sure we would be allowed to cancel. We could probably scramble and find a time somewhere else if we find out it is closed tomorrow.

I wonder how Troy Burne faired?

They have a 3:50 and a 4:50 available tomorrow?

Hopefully Stoneridge is able to make the call at a decent time today, and we can find something else if necessary?

I’m game for anywhere other than Tanner’s Brook cause that place is probably soaked!
