Full disclosure. There still may be the first 2 Ball putter I ever owned in a tree off #3 or #4. Hit first 3-4 greens in regulation and 3 putted all of them. This was back in 98-99 timeframe.

The first and only 60degree I’ve ever owned is somewhere in the woods off of the 17th green at Oneka Ridge. Best decision I ever made was getting that piece of shit the fuck out of my bag. Can only all alternate between chunking and blading it so many times. This was probably '07?

I think my only 60 degree experience was similar but I think my went in a bargain bin somewhere and not the woods.

Yeah, this was more a crime of passion on my part. Then again, I just felt like it wanted to be home in the woods, with all of the balls the club had already bladed in there.
It was also like a $20 top flite wedge, so I did the rest of society a favor by not letting some other poor unsuspecting person decide to lay their hands on it.

@Taylorda and I had a twilight match this evening at my home course. Derek was unfortunate enough to be coming off a PR round last weekend which meant he had to give me 10 strokes. But rules are rules and I gladly accepted my strokes, hacking my way to a 6 and 4 win.
I look forward to more casual rounds with @Taylorda in the future! Even though our golf left something to be desired, it was a great chat on a great summer night.

What @LonnieMollo failed to mention is although he got the 10 strokes, he needed NONE of them. He was an excellent caddie as he hosted me on his home course. He looked for my balls that seemed to never find the fairway and always tried to help me navigate that course. One thing is for certain, i need to get better at everything.
@LonnieMollo was an excellent host and although my play was absolutely dog shit, the round was enjoyable as the sun set and we were walking around the back nine. Looking forward to navigating our schedules so i can get another round with him in at OH this summer.
So far i am 3/3 with my refugee meetups. Each one has proved that we have some good guys in this contingent.

Any guys here playing in the MGA Am qualifiers these next couple weeks? I’m playing out at Baker this coming Tuesday. I know I have absolutely no chance of competing at the MGA, but it’d be fun to qualify and get a couple rounds in at Edina CC. There’s 13 spots available for my site, so I’m thinking 76-77 should get in.
