Just following back up on this. I personally loved having the Rush Creek card and will definitely be buying it for next season. It did get a little dicey for tee times, especially as someone who tries to sneak in rounds when I can and doesn’t always book way in advance, but the thing pays for itself in 6-7 rounds. Also, if you’re trying to get on as a single, I found some success in calling and getting put on the wait list.
And I’m not sure on the discount for club fittings, but I did get $50 off the new FJ Premiere’s and would buy my balls there all season. If you live in the area and plan on playing it a half dozen or so times, I think it’s a no brainer.
Sam is awesome! Met him once randomly in college, his work is dope. He obviously centers more around Madison/MKE, but has some other random stuff and throws up decent sales now and then around the holidays if you’re ever looking for some neat prints to add to the collection #supportlocal(ish)
I haven’t listened to the newest pod nor am I apart of the nest. What is thus roost you all speak of? Sounds intriguing from everyone’s interest in it, but not to sure what it’s all about. Then again always lived by a motto “Its not peer pressure, it’s just your turn.” So count me in regardless of said answers.
Essentially they’re organizing the Nest into regions (Roosts) with a Little League World Series-esque match play championship at the end of each year. Non-nest members are welcome to join and participate in events but much like NIT only Nest members will be eligible to travel to represent their region at the match play. Essentially nothing changes in/around MN since we already have such an active group, just the formalities of getting a “head count” and naming the Roost.
