I live in NW Iowa and honestly donāt know much about the public golf scene in MN, so Iām going to rock with Landsmeer Golf Club for my NW Iowa needs (and my favorite Iowa public golf).
The best steak I ever had was served to me by a couple that hosted me for a dinner while I was in college. Iām not sure a restaurant could even begin to compare.

Oh man! I knew I recognized your handle from the Iowa thread earlier this year. Moved up there very recently, right?
Work brings me to Orange City/Le Mars at least annually and Iāve never made the schedule work to get to Landsmeer. Looking forward to rectifying that the next time Iām in the area.

Iāve played the Ridge in Sioux Center a couple times but havenāt made it to Landsmeer yet. Iāll put it on the list
All this talk about Keller piqued my curiosity about what it was like before the 12 M $ reno. I only played it once before and it was so long ago, I couldnāt remember any details. I pulled the aerials from 2012 and 2022. Itās fascinating to look at the differences between the two.

Holy hell! I never played it pre-reno, but a few Standouts for me - hole #2, yuck, no thank you pre-reno into one of my favorite holes now. Obviously the tree removal over the last 2 years is crazy. Tons of great bunker additions 1, 3, 12, 16 etc etc. 10, like 2, looked awful, now one of the most fun gettable par 5ās. This is a whole new #perspective on how lucky we are now with Keller.

You remember that 5 stair by the mcdonalds? I busted a clean A Reynolds frontside flip on that bad boy clean on the screws. That was a highlight without question!
