I read this and it was like looking in a mirror. I’m Ireland → Bloomington (age 6) and absolutely beat up braemar executive course as a kid. Welcome, brother
I was there this year and of that list played St Patrick’s Links, Portstewart, Portrush and RCD Annesley. They are all so cool. Portrush is special. The front nine at Portstewart is WILD! St Patrick’s definitely has a newer feel to it than the rest of the courses. Annesley gives you all the same views that RCD does but is a lot easier! Have an awesome time!
Hey @NorthStarUnited, registration for the NSS is officially open in UKG. Please read carefully - we’re not collecting payment through Stripe this time, but I am requiring a $25 Venmo to approve your registration (@nickmoryn). Remember, all are welcome, even non-NSU folks. Let’s get to 72!
Going to take some photos tonight that will make @BaxterMSP cry tears of joy

I’m very excited to see what you get here, it’s absolutely going to shine in the sunset today.
Got 200 shots. I took the first one I got and I’m throwing it in the Raynor Quest thread now
God damn
MN friends. Will be coming up to Hazeltine to watch our Iowa guy tomorrow for the Am finals. Hope to see some of you out there.
I had forgotten he was in it still. That’s awesome. Need to find one of those sweet yellow hats he has somewhere
I didn’t see your brother out there today and I’m mad about it. Kent played a hell of a match though.
I think he missed today for some reason. Was out yesterday though. Rupp, him, my dad and I will be out tomorrow though bright and early. (2am wake up)
I’m 99% sure I won’t get to go tomorrow, but will be watching from the couch
Going to be in the cities next weekend and have a single at White Eagle in Hudson booked for Friday. Any played it and have thoughts? Worth it or should I look somewhere else?
Playing it for the first time tomorrow! Looks hard tbh
It does. That’s kind of my hold up but I need to get to Wisconsin anyway to get some Moon Man so decided to double up
I’m gonna be in Ottertail the first week of September for my wife’s cousin’s wedding and looking to play somewhere that morning. Staying at Thumper Pond. Should I just play there or is there something better in the area? Balmoral?
Thumper Pond is a fun course, old Christmas tree farm but they trim the trees to playing height. I think it’s dealer’s choice on which one you play.
45 min drive to Wildflower. Not sure what your schedule looks like
Can’t go wrong up there. Wildflower, Perham, Detroit CC, and thumper are all fun. Conditions can be hit or miss at thumper. Have not played balmoral but have heard good things there too
