I’m looking to add some custom ferrules to my clubs this fall. I don’t have the skill to do it myself. Anyone in the GR area willing to help me out with this? I know this would be several months away but if someone has the skills to help me out I would rather give some money to a fellow Nest member than a local golf shop. Michiganders, I will be in your fine state soon and am coming here to see if anyone would like to join in for a round. I’ll be at my in-law’s place in Port Austin from 7/3-7/11 then my wife is in a wedding on 7/13 in Shelby Township where I plan to play in the morning. On a golf trip, played Pohlcat and Bucks Run yesterday. Played St Ives and Tulleymore today. Have Pilgrims Run tomorrow.
St. Ives is stupid, Tulleymore is slightly better.
Bucks Run was awesome, outside of the absolute torrential down pour we had.

Seems like you had a good time tonight though, lol.
We got rained out most of the day today but we took a flier and went out in the afternoon to play our Pinecroft round. Ended up clearing up after one hole and turning into an awesome evening, before raining again after dinner.
The rain has killed the hangout time at the bonfire, but otherwise I’ve gotten in 54 holes in two days. 36 more at Champion Hill tomorrow.

How was the condition at pinecroft?
Not bad considering all the rain. We plugged 3 balls well beneath the equator on the second green, putted through a river on 3, and had a few cups filled with water. But the fairways were good, and the greens were much better by the back nine.

Bumping for Mr. Chimis. Turns out Saturday morning at Mines will be an OATW Matchplay Quarterfinal clash. Bear witness to a slap fight of epic proportions!
I believe we have one spot available for Mines and two each for Pilgrims and Diamond Springs.

Fern Hill in Clinton Twp would like a word. I’m a golf sicko like all of us and I wouldn’t play there for free.

It needs about 50% of the trees on the property removed and a few million dumped into renovating the course to make it decent.

calling that place a dog track is being incredibly nice to dog tracks.
I feel like I end up there once a year for a charity outing a buddy’s family puts on. He sponsors like 3 groups so we all just show up and party. I’m not sure we’ve ever gotten thru 18 holes before it devolving into a drunken mess. I did win like 50 bucks on a CTP once tho.

I would also need 36 ProV1s and 18 cold beers added to the free golf then I might consider. The big left miss off the tee makes me concerned that 36 balls might not be enough.
It’s already”decent” lol. But yes I’d zap some trees for sure.
