I live in the Waterford area, so Oakland County. Does anyone have any suggestions for Oakland County PGA pros? Looking to get a few tune up lessons this year before summer hits to work out some small issues. Curious if anyone works with anyone in the area that they recommend.
I work with Tom Harding over at Carl’s Golfland in Bloomfield Hills. Only had 3 lessons with him so far, but he’s been great to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy, I definitely recommend him.

I’ve been on the fence about buying this group golfer deal the past two years. I’ve heard great things about Angels Crossing.
The question is…should I pull the trigger?
I wouldn’t hesitate to snag that deal. It’s been a few years since I’ve been down to Angel’s Crossing, but I remember really enjoying it. Lots of cool optical tricks.

Leslie Park in Ann Arbor is a absolute gem. Anyone else love that place?

Oh for sure, fantastic terrain for a course at Leslie Park. I enjoy playing there more than the uofm mackenzie course.

Definitely recommend it. Fun round. Greens can be tough if they’re running fast, but they had kept them pretty manageable the last few times I played.
Back nine is especially enjoyable with an absolute bear of a par 3 on 12. Long with a redan green.
Great finisher on 18 as well.

I’ll second that. Never too busy either, and great value. When I was in school, Leslie would be our go to course on nice days to blow off afternoon classes.
Still enjoy the McKenzie course, but it could get pretty busy.

Man, I lived in A^2 for a year and never actually played Leslie Park. I’m in Plymouth now so I’m adding this to my list for 2020.

I bought my 4 today. They have been doing a lot of work trying to spruce the course up over the last year. Definitely worth the $30.

On Stoatin Brae, does anyone know what type of grass they use in their fairways? I’ve never seen anything like it. It almost feels like the newfangled artificial turf.
