I just waited in some sort of queue and now I’m at a landing page for gallery tickets and it says they will go on sale at 10
I don’t like that the queue says “good luck,” like they know the scalpers are gonna get there first and it’s not their problem.

I could only get practice round tickets. Everything else was gone.
Same. Got Monday and Wednesday.
I just got Monday, which is fine. I’m more interested in seeing the course anyway, and I imagine there will be less traffic early in the week.
Fewer people on the course too, and much better chance to see who you want.
Yea I went with Wednesday. Will check back closer to the event and see if the tournament days start to drop a little. A guy can hope!
Had a very similar experience, I opened the link at 9AM and for some reason it allowed me to enter around 9:30 and I grabbed tickets.
Wish I opened up the link sooner…I logged on at 945 and got shut out of everything. Hopefully the secondary market slows down a bit because I was really looking forward to going to a US Open 20 min away from my house.

i set an alarm and couldnt get shit. hoping i can get in one tournament day, never been to a major before.
Tried the queue three times from 9-10 and struck out all times.
Before my wife and I moved up to Massachusetts we got married in Ipswich and I played Cape Ann a few times (including the morning of the wedding) and I love it there. Chill vibe and good clams - lots of fun.
I played Cape Ann to kick off the season this year, and I really want to get back there when the conditions are better. Its character shone through the soppy wet nature of the course. (Although I’m not looking forward to playing No. 7 again. Brutal long par 3.)
Speaking of 9-holers and brutal long Par 3s, it looks like I’ll get my first round of the year at Ould Newbury tomorrow. Experiencing that for the first time late last year is what finally broke me of my 9-hole-course bias.

Anyone know what kind of shape Red Tail is in this year? I know they are going through some renovations.
I haven’t been out there personally, but have heard that it is not even close to being worth what they are charging right now and the conditions are not great.
Have not. I looked at tee times last weekend and they wanted $100+. Of all the courses I looked at near Boston, it was the most expensive save for Granite Links. Thought that felt quite expensive to me when they wanted more than Pinehills or Waverly Oaks even for example.
Yeah I just booked a tee time for Sunday for $115 which I don’t feel great about haha…but was also shocked that the entire sheet on Sunday was essentially open.
Going to a wedding at Granite Links this weekend, and I committed to playing before I looked at the greens fees. It’s fine. We’re fine. Everything is fine.
