Excalibur, Luxor, and Tropicana are likely to be your cheapest rates. South end of the Strip has been more affordable than North end in recent years.
Just watch out for the resort fees - they’re mandatory and ridiculous. You might see a $49/night rate, but the resort fee will be like $36/night, maybe more. Helps to remember that resort fees are just a tax dodge and not really relevant to your experience as a guest.
Coming in to Vegas from Michigan for a trade show (but just going to play golf instead) anyone have availability to play Sunday 4/24? I got a deal at The Legacy for $49, but need to have at least a 2 some, all I need is one but technically there is room for three more.
The Legacy 4/24 11:10 tee time, $49 w/cart
PM me if interested
Also thinking of playing Angel Park on Tuesday afternoon, played there last time I was out and loved it but if anyone has other recommendations I’m open
Any members of local clubs in here willing to host? I could potentially offer a “home and home”, if you will, with a round for 2 at Southern Highlands. Looking at 5/11, specifically but that weekend is mostly open. Thanks!
Inquiry into St. George Courses: Sand Hollow Specific
Hey Yall! Going to Vegas for the first time last time early June. Always knew the day would come; and knew I was going to make sure to get to Sand Hollow in the doing.
Long story short; I read a few reviews from the last month and last year’s season that were kind of detracting. Am I really just going to be mad and disappointed with the lack of service and kicked out of the restaurant for not ordering food? 6 hour rounds?
Thank you kindly for the support as ROI is always a factor for me.
Haven’t played Sand Hollow yet. Copper Rock and the new Black Desert are also top notch. If you don’t want to go that far Coyote Springs or Paiute are on great shape but it will be hotter.
When in June?
Am through the first 18 holes today and completely blew up on 9 and 18 to shoot a gross 99
Looking to play better tomorrow (and avoid putting multiple balls in the same body of water 3 times in row LOL).
Vegas is awesome and there is a TON of golf. These places, however, have been my favorites.
Paiute. It is up north on the way out of town towards Reno on 95, about 35 minutes from the strip. 3 Pete dye courses. Great conditions, usually some wind, fantastic scenery out in the mountains (though not mountain courses, they are in the valley). June starts the “off season” rates for summer and the place is a steal at $139 before 11 am for visitors during the week. Wolf is my favorite 5ere but sun/snow are solid as well. And they do a bounce back rate too.
elevated muni vibes - Angel Park. In sumerlin so about 15-20 minutes from the strip. 2 18 hole courses(I prefer mountain to palm, but again both are solid). Great practice area for putting/chipping and a large range, though on mats. They also have a 12 hole par 3 course that is lit up at night. Gonna run you about same as Paiute for weekday mornings.
the actual LV muni which is amazing and great shape, walkable, etc… Las Vegas golf club. Close to the strip (10-15 minutes depending on where you are on the strip). It’s a steal for locals, still gonna run you about 110 for weekday mornings as a visitor. Fairways, tees, greens, bunkers in great shape. Parkland, hard to get in too much trouble. Great vibe, interesting people, pace has been great everytime I have played it thusfar. Like went off at 6:45 am Memorial Day in a foursome on a holiday weekend with packed tee sheet and finished in like 3:50.
I live here so if you end up needing an extra closer to the actual dates hit me up!
