If you are a player and you are thinking this way, that is such a defeatist attitude. It’s like the golf equivalent of standing on the first tee hoping you dont shank one. Guess what you’re going to do?
FOR SURE the NFL has behind curtains told the refs to protect the stars of the NFL. I don’t have any doubt of that. I don’t see much wrong with that either AS LONG AS they keep the game fair. Ensuring the stars of the NFL are healthy makes for a better product. But they have to figure out the rules in a way that doesn’t give the stars of the NFL any more of an advantage than they already have. Not saying I have the solution to this, but I’m not paid millions of dollars to write the NFL rule book. Again, this is an NFL rules problem. I don’t get the hate on Mahomes, or Josh Allen, or any other player when they flop.
Your line of thinking is almost entirely why I made the point above (I wasn’t being sarcastic if it came off that way). But my initial point still holds that blaming a player for flopping isn’t looking at the whole picture. One of the best examples of a “Don’t hate the player, hate the game” situation.
My 5 year old has seen 5 Super Bowl’s and I too have seen as many.
She knows not the pain of not punting, nor Terrell Davis. But I frankly feel the greatest power of the Mahomes generation of Chiefs fans is not wondering what won’t happen, but what is about TO happen.
Is there a KC buy/sell thread? Is that allowed to post in here? I found a new Clicgear Model 8.0 push cart in my storage unit I forgot about and don’t need…
Cool, I will get some pictures tomorrow, but it is brand new - just in my trunk at the moment. Also has the cooler bag, umbrella holder, and cup holder. I’ll message you tomorrow!
