my wife just told me, via nextdoor update, that GL is selling Deer Creek back 9 for development.
what a fucking horrible idea. same as selling brookridge for development, it’s already an area that floods so lets put more fucking concrete down.

I was under the impression that GL no longer operated Deer Creek? I wonder if it’s still in their portfolio, just cut access from their members because they’re gonna sell off lots. Either way, that sucks. 
GL logo is still on the deer creek web page.

Do tell. Membership up there displeased with GL?
They dropped GL back in October. Without telling @ericrbens who booked a tee time via his GL membership. Tough scene in the pro shop, but we got to play. Good track.

Any idea what was behind the decision to drop GL? I assume there were several reasons that piled up, but curious if something specific broke the camel’s back.
No idea and I didn’t ask about it afterwards. They were still on the GLKC website for at least a few days afterwards since I checked early the week after we played up there.
