I remember nothing about the course, but I was there around '97 or so as part of a father-son golf camp. The trip was capped with dinner at a Hooters on the way back home. Fun times.

We need 1 MORE for a mixed event with our friends up North in Michigan… October 4th, Stoatin Brae. First group is off at 10am, Last at 11am.
We have a VRBO lined up for Friday night as well, if you’d like some lodging and a guaranteed good hang the night before.

I live in Ohio but will be in Fishers on October 11-12th with time for golf. I was wondering about recommendations between playing Purgatory, or Plum Creek or if something else is better. Are both of those walkable?

Best course in the area is probably The Fort. Not super walkable, very hilly.
Purgatory is also really good and a good walk.
Plum Creek is good. But would be third behind the fort and purgatory, imo.
I second all that was said above. The Fort and Purgatory are head and shoulders above Plum Creek. If you have to walk, then Purgatory is the choice, but if you are willing to ride, The Fort in the fall is beautiful. The trees have changed color and the place really pops.
I’m dropping my daughters off at a gymnastics camp on Technology road, I’m staying at the Springhill suites on Hague road.
Then I would do the fort if you can. Would also rec calling ahead and checking on aeration schedule.
