I’ve got a weird question that’s oddly specific- coming down with some buddies to play a few rounds and one of the guys asked the question-
Between Foxcliff and Timbergate, which course has a better hot dog at the turn.
Anybody have some thoughts?

Can’t say, but I’d put my money on Timbergate. What other courses are taking you in those directions?
Brickyard and the Fort!
I will be about 4 miles from Tippecanoe CC for the 4th. Arriving Sunday the 2nd if you want some company.
I have always had pretty good luck with tee times there around the 4th. Most folks are out on the lake, etc. There will be some folks out there that play once a year though, so prep for that. They will also try to play all the way back when they see the length of the early (original) holes. Then get punched in the face when they get to) 6/7 and are staring down the barrel of 470 & 435 yd par 4s.
@auribe14 how the fuck you get on PV here and who do I have to schmooze?
I chipped off the difference in cost, placed the order. 3 of us are gonna look pretty cool!
Happy Solstice, everyone.

Fantastic job, Allen!
Interesting news this week…
Awesome news—already a great 27 and I hope they either extend to 36 or keep 27. Gonna enjoy seeing some modernized bunkering there.
Huge for the CCO events program
Unfortunately, I read that as either 18 or 27…
Yea they can make a great 18 with the 400 acres they have, and a big practice facility. They should partner with 450 N for F&B too
Bringing this over for everyone to jump on…
Sorry for the delay on my end, haven’t checked the Refuge in a minute.
Final decision is to come on Sunday, July 9. I have to be in Chicago the following Monday and decided I’d do it on my way down.
Because of logistics I’m thinking of Noble Hawk in Kendallville in the morning & Rock Hollow in the afternoon. Can’t use the Rock Hollow coupon until 11 so it axed the Rock Hollow/Tippecanoe route.
If anyone wants to tag along, give a shout!
I have 7:57 booked for 2 people at Noble Hawk on 7/9 & the other 2 are open if needed. If nobody can make it I have a vendor in Angola who usually wants to play.
Thinking around 2:30 at Rock Hollow if anyone is interested there, but I know it’s a crap time.
Edit: I did book 1 person at 2:30 at Rock Hollow
I’ll tag along for Noble… that’s my normal track.
Hell yeah! Local knowledge baby
If you’ve never been, you’ll enjoy it… guaranteed!
First timer. I’ve had it on my list for a couple years, anything remotely linksy grabs my attention no matter how far from water it is.
Cobblestone seems like a solid stop for the future as well.
It is indeed. Played it for the first time at the end of last year but it was cold and rainy. There’s a little bar on the way back into Fort Wayne called Taps, great lil dive vibe with some sneaky good bourbon and a few pool tables. Saw a Booker’s just chilling there.
