If wanting to be that side of the county, then would look more towards Hunstanton or some of the smaller villages around at a little BandB or just grab your own AirBnB somewhere.
If staying that way, then Brancaster and Hunstanton should be top of the list
The north Norfolk coast is known as The Champagne Coast due to the long stretches of silvery sand and is really nice. It effectively starts at Thornham and goes to Salthouse. Hunstanton to the west of that and Sheringham / Cromer to the east are fine but a very different vibe. Think Cotswolds versus Bognor. All the villages and towns along there are lovely and full of guest houses, boutique hotels and AirBnBs.
The small towns of Burnham Market, Wells-Next-The-Sea and Holt are all lovely. Blakeney is smaller but very cute. The villages I like are Burnham Overy Staithe, Morston and Cley. The Holkham Hall estate is bangin too.
Hotels would be the Lifeboat Inn (Thornham), Hoste Arms (Burnham Market), The Victoria (Holkham), and the Blakeney Hotel.
Golf there is Brancaster (my favourite course in the world), Hunstanton and just along the coast is Sheringham. Cromer is not far. Brancaster and Hunny are a significant step above the rest but Sherry & Cromer are still a lot of fun. Worly is interesting, though difficult to get into and a drive from up there. Gogs isn’t worth any kind of effort.
Woking is a nice track with lots of history, but, we have had a shit ton of rain over the last few weeks and more forecast this weekend. Everything is wet in Surrey and it will only get worse over the next few days.
I just don’t want you wasting £100+ to squelch around.
