That hole is absolutely terrible. Disgusting tee shot to a narrow elevated landing area and that 2nd shot is also a disaster.

Also, not one to complain about a long round because I’ve just accepted it’s the state of the game right now, but I have been subjected to some LONG rounds at Egwani. Talking the wives are checking in to see if we are alive on by hour 5 type rounds.

The two times Ive played it, it has been wide open. Once it was about 45 and misting however, and the other time it was still pretty soft from previous rains that really raised the river level. Not exactly days people were clamoring to play.
Head out there on a summer weekend if you dare, my brother.

I like Egwani, but this is 100% fact.
I’m a 3 Ridges homer and I wish Willow was closer to me. I don’t play it much because I live in Powell and it feels like it’s an hour away…which is just so annoying.

God it’s so far out in the middle of nowhere but it’s a good course.
Used to race there after work to get 9 in.

I only played it because I’m bach’ing it this week and my buddy lives in Claiborne county. Had fun though! There’s definitely some of the golf holes of all time out there

Egwani 11 was recently featured of Fried Egg “Design Disasters” page. It was quite funny and every part was true.
11 is so bad I think people forget that 2 is also a pretty crappy par 5. Still love going out there though.
