Roll Call: East Tennessee

Dear all, come on out to the Knoxville Open next week. Get rowdy on 11/17. Have fun and enjoy the course, hopefully the weather cooperates.

Planning on being there for at least one of the days! Can’t wait to see the course again.

@DavidElliottHHCC from sounds of the players and guest Holston was a great host this week. Congratulations!

Can confirm, Holston was tip top this weekend. @DavidElliottHHCC and crew had it in fantastic shape, and all the players loved the course.

Not often they get to play a classic design, with a great crowd, in great conditions, with perfect weather.

Echoing what they said above, congrats @DavidElliottHHCC and team on a great event!
I had a great time out there. My friend informed me somewhere on the back 9 that we had crossed the 4.5 mile mark walking for the day and I almost couldn’t believe it ha. Such an easy walk around and paying attention to the course and the golf in that weather was basically perfect.

Have 2 Sweetens all day passes available for Saturday, June 12th.

Also have a spot open at Black Creek on Thursday, June 10th at 9AM.

Let me know if interested.

Black Creek is so good! That’s a great combo! Enjoy the walk and play well!

Thinking of making the drive from Atlanta to play Sweetens but don’t have a group to do it with. Is Sweetens still an enjoyable experience to do solo? Is it easy to find groups to join up with or do people mostly come in foursomes?

You might drop this in the Sweetens Thread as well.
I would try and help, but I’ve only been once and went with a friend. We had a blast and got paired with a single.

This was also in 2018, so I have no idea what it’s like now that the all day passes are up and going and sold out.

Hey guise I’m trying to book a group for Sweetens for October 30 - November 1. I don’t fully understand their new process to book passes online. Can anyone let me know if they have advice. I thought I was planning far enough out in advance, but perhaps not!

Passes through end of October have been sold out for months. They have a waitlist feature now, so I’d jump on that. They opened up prime season passes back in February I think and the whole season sold out in 30min.

Hey - much appreciated. That’s what I was thinking but was hoping that perhaps late October hadn’t been made available yet.

Really random, but whatever:
Any Vol fans (or fans of bright orange) here who also happen to wear a size 11 shoe?

DM me if so.

What’s up Tennessee guys :v:

Just put this up in the Florida roll call - I’m also hoping to get on at Sewanee on Tuesday the 28th. If there’s anyone in the area looking for a game, let me know.

@tedscott Im a member at Lookout and would love to get something on the books for a BC/LMGC battle of Cummings Hwy. 18 at one course in the morning and 18 at the other in the afternoon?

Damn that sounds great. Let’s do it in august! July is busy as hell for me.

Would love anyone’s input on courses in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Headed down at the end of the month with family. I usually play a round with my grandfather and my brother when we visit. In years past we’ve played Patriot Hills and Island Pointe (which I see after poking through this thread is not in good condition anymore).

I’m leaning towards Gatlinburg GC or one of the courses at Sevierville. It’s been 4 years since we’ve visited and I’m hoping to try somewhere we haven’t played before.
