We are playing in the 3 man at Patriot this weekend. Hope to see you there if you are playing!
First place I broke 80! Super hungover. Drank too much tequila, got in a knock-down, drag-out with my gf (now wife) and got 3 hours of sleep.
haha thank for sharing that. First time seeing this thread light up in a little while and I sure wasn’t expecting that
I learned to play golf at Bristol CC. We left the area the year that the Virginian opened, never got to play it. Now I’m REALLY interested in playing everything down that road!
I am disgusted with the lack of meetups/activity from this thread. Now that there is no college football you psychos can leave the house on the first 4 Saturday’s of the year when you usually think its still “your year”. Let’s play some G!
Too soon?
Me the first time I don’t have to be at a stadium on a fall saturday.
But yes more meetups and golf from the East TN group.
I’ve been quoted as saying “don’t talk about it be about it.”
@rvanculin @jnoe3 @JesseSmithey let’s set a date for this thing. I know @chill and @holeout want in, and probably some of the local guis here.
Graysburg hills all day.
Also, if anyone from this thread wants to come to Chattanooga you’re always welcome to come to my place.
I’m ready to talk dates. I work rotating shifts, so no specific day of the week, except I don’t normally play Sundays. What day of the week works best for everyone?
A Saturday is the easy answer for me. Lots of vacation time planned out already for the rest of the year.
I can play whenever and wherever y’all just holla!
I’ll be out there man…think we’re out around 730 or so Saturday
Saturday’s are best for me as well
I’m out of town the first 2 Saturdays in September, but any other time I’m either off or will burn a day of vacation to play.

Let’s get something nailed down to 1-2 dates and see what works best for everyone. I’m down for a meetup in ETN, as long as I can hit the ball straighter than I did yesterday
Also really want to take the Holston plunge but part of me is scared of the commitment and the other knows I can’t get my friends to commit. Huge fan of both the course and atmosphere.
The best kept secret in the Knoxville area is Green Meadow - I’m a member so I know.
Incredibly reasonable dues, smaller membership, fun course, laid back atmosphere.
Would be happy to host a meetup there.
::missed my line by a foot & a half::
“How did that not go in?” - @holeout
You know anything about all the other McConnell courses you get to play if you’re a member at Holston?
