Fellow Denver residents (and Coloradans), thanks for the warm welcome! Excited to be out here and looking forward to exploring the golf (and other things). Trying to get used to Mountain Time, but I think I’m going to enjoy it.
You’ll learn to love MST, it’s by far the best time zone for televised sports.
Huge +1 to this. Sunday night football being done at 9:15-9:30 is massive for the old man sleeping I partake in. Also, F1 races first thing Sunday morning? Sign me up.
A bit concerned about the normal Cincinnati Reds baseball window being around 5pm–not sure if that’s great, or I’ll miss them quite often. But definitely looking forward to NCAA game starting tonight at 7:20 instead of 9:20pm
Goodness I feel like a tool. Got April Fools Fooled.
Welcome to Colorado!
(Early sports is amazing)
@Randy you a breakfast burrito gui?
Finding your favorite BB spot is kind of a right of passage here in Denver
Wait, this whole thing wasn’t a bit? I’m so confused right now.
Still a few weeks of spring skiing left at most of the mountains. I think my favorite thing about being out here is the ability to ski and play golf in the same weekend. And if you’re really feeling it, the same day!
skiing and golfing in the same day is a young man’s game, not advised for anyone 30+
Welcome from a fellow RedHawk ('93).
Skiing/golfing in the same day is easy. Just make sure you’ve got nothing going on the next two days for recovery.
Are we all just going to neglect telling him about the Triple 9?
9 runs in the morning
9 holes in the afternoon
9 innings at a Rockies game in the evening to drink away the lactic acid in your muscles.
The Rockies franchise is dead actually, you must go watch farm league baseball now in order to do the 9’s
If it wasn’t so far, I’d definitely go down to the springs to catch a Vibes game, if only for this logo.
Of course I leave town for a Scottsdale golf trip that day.
Can’t say I have ever been passionate about them, but certainly willing to garner some half-hearted passion about which is my favorite!
I hope to be at all 4 games
Hey thanks! Question—is there an active alumni group in Denver? I would think maybe?
Has the Rockies franchise ever truly been alive?
