Sounds about right.
I think we’re under 12 inches (familiar territory)
Final accumulation will be 9
Vic’s “Does anybody want coffee” bit in the gas station is the best
Woke up to 7” expecting 12”. Now I know how my wife feels.
It’s snowing sideways now though.
But it’s a thick and heavy 7”.
Seriously, we had 6” down here and my bigass snowblower choked and died a few times. Makes a good slushy though.
Yeah, my cheap snowblower choked out at least a dozen times. Not as easy to blow this snow as the stuff we got last time. I was throwing that clear across my street.
This snow sucks. Already shoveled twice and need to go out again during nap time.
Windy as shit up here. Probably have more than a foot all told but tough to tell since a lot of it already melted yesterday. But I’ve got 2ft drifts in the driveway.
Gonna suuuccckkk when I finally get out there.
Cleared the first 10ish here in Highlands Ranch at a snail’s pace to get through. Bottom couple of inches are completely saturated. Glad I filled up the gas can. MPG not great. Here’s to some strange Netflix kids show and the Players before doing it all again.
It’s now a full fledged blizzard here. You can’t tell that I already blew snow. Fuuuck me.
As I let my dog out the back patio I heard one neighbor’s snowblower clanking away in the deep snow.
It will be filled in within the hour. Sucker.
2 passes already this morning. On the 2nd pass, my snowblower constantly choked on the 2-3”. Too many jokes my wife did not enjoy.
About to go out for a 3rd pass. It’s getting nasty, but gotta stay on top of this or else we’ll be fucked later tonight and tomorrow morning.
Yeah, I might need to run it again in a few hours. It’s piling up fast and if I leave it too long, it’s going to be impossible.
Just did 3rd pass with the snowblower. Maybe 4”, and i couldn’t make it more than 4’ without it choking.
Really nice of god to use quickrete in today’s snow mix. Jeesh.
Measured 15” in my yard. I have some crazy drifting in spots, too. Shook off trees and everything. This is the craziest storm since the 2003 one. And that was double the amount of snow.
Our best guess is we have close to 2 feet now up in Candelas (northwest Arvada), but still seeing bare ground in spots and others with drifts over 5’. Beard got a little icy out shoveling and playing earlier.
