Roll Call: Colorado -- @PJM v Colorado Golfers, @PJM only half guilty

Aurora is a war zone, thankfully we dodged the fallen branches. For now

I knocked off some snow last night that may have done the trick. It seems like we have a storm like this yearly now, so I think our weak branches may have been culled already.

Y’all are invited to come west and play battlement tomorrow.

Although wish we were getting some of that sweet sweet moisture :-/

Hell no! I love it. Except it totally nuked my plans yesterday.

Landing in Denver in an hour or so. Anything going to playable this afternoon or tomorrow? Heard the weather has been crap. If not, any indoor/sim/range recommendations? Traveling for work this week but trying to dial in new clubs for a member/member this weekend back home…

I’d assume all courses are open today, especially by this afternoon. How long are you in town for?

ugh feel for you man. Let us know if you need any course recs while you’re in town.

I would love some. I’m staying at the Hilton in Cherry Creek and will be staying around Denver today. Working down in the springs tomorrow, so anywhere between the two that would have availability for an afternoon tee time. 9 or 18 would be acceptable. Honestly, even a good range or sim would be solid. I just got new irons and I need to dial some distances.

Well I definitely would not recommend trying to dial in distances at 5,600’ elevation

CommonGround is always the group favorite. Doak designed municipal that’s not too expensive and not too far from you. Other recommendations would be Homestead (my personal favorite, but it’s a shorter course), Fossil trace or Arrowhead for more mountain/tourist type golf.

If you fly every green, that means youve got them dialed lmao

If you want to spoil yourself a little you can play Bear Dance. Usually very easy to get a weekday afternoon time there and it’s right on the I-25 corridor between the springs and Denver.

CommonGround is great, but usually difficult to get a decent tee time on. Absolutely worth it though. Most everyone considers it “The” public course of Denver.

This explains a lot about OEM marketing tactics.
