@jhkaplan is right on all accounts on this one, it’s too hard to choose.
Could be the cold shank wedge on the third hole of the trip, not playing ~15% of the holes on each course after losing two tee shots, the constant fear that two dozen balls for 7 rounds wasn’t enough, finally catching a break at sheep off the tee and then shanking a layup into the gorse, the classic “entire United States to my left” on 4 at Pac, chunking three 8 irons in a row when the weather finally cleared up at Bandon, shanking my tee shot on 6 at Bandon while the group ahead let us play through, five putting a GIR from 20 feet to let pards down in a match, almost breaking a window at McKee’s off the first tee at Bandon, putting off the green into hell bunker, having to walk through the gorse to another hole to apologize to a group for hitting into them, take your pick, all pretty good contenders and there are probably more I’m forgetting.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Come on, that was the reward for driving the green.
I’m glad I have someone else to commiserate with about their play at Bandon as well. I’ll play in shitty weather any time as well so no griping for me.

I hit soo many bad shots when I went, best time of my life. But I never had internet friends to help me recount and remember them, so, you’re welcome

Maybe all the expensive doubles, three putts and shit weather were the real friends we made along the way.
And that’s where we end this string of Bandon talk.
We’re on to Homestead.
But I did make that eagle putt after driving the uphill par four green, only eagle of the group.

Power’s finally out, multiple large tree branches down. This is fine.
If it gets really cold, just run the cars the garage closed. It warms up the house nicely.
But then all the heat gets trapped in the garage. I better run a hose from the garage into the house to pipe the heat in.

We have some big branches down in the backs yard and a few more have snapped in the last few hours since I’ve been awake. Kids definitely aren’t allowed to play in the backyard today.
