yep I’ll make sure it’s embroidery friendly

Guise I think it’s official:

we are The Mile High Coop

talking with @KMola14 it’s sounding like we’re honing in on some sort of North/South divisions with the AZ guys, can you say year long season/events schedule??

also, embroidery render came out nicely

I need to actually sign up. @discobot can you remind me to sign up tonight when I can access the google sheet?

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

We are gaining some momentum on nest member numbers down here. Might be able to make it to the quota while passing off some Salt Lake City members to The Mile High Coop.

If able to finalize our own roost, we will definitely still start some annual events or cups between our roosts.

Happy Thanksgiving folks, have two spots open at 10:10 at Common Ground tomorrow (Friday), thankful for in-laws leaving and a good weather forecast.

Happy Thanksgiving internet friends, my gift to you is our Mile High Coop monogram logo, because every modern golf club needs a monogram logo for merch purposes

Love it.

Next question is how nice of an embroidery machine do we need to start putting this on stuff?

Reminder to get yourself on the roost sign up sheet if you haven’t already :rooster:

Also…

Starting to think about 2022, here are some of my notes from last years league, and some changes we can make for more general meetups / regional rivalries

  • first and foremost, @Preston must make some rooster’y updates to the existing trophy.
  • season long match play is still our championship, considering expanding the regular season and dropping a defined schedule. Playoffs still being points based, maybe doing North/South divisions to make matches easier
  • Restriction on only being able to play a rooster once (no, you can’t just beat up on @PJM when he’s playing to his 23.5 index). Max # of matches you can play, so this encourages people to participate fully to give them the best shot.
  • 4 formal meetups over the course of the season for the MHC 2Bird Series :tm:. Each meetup would be a different 2man format (Best Ball, Alt Shot-at an affordable course-, Vegas, Scramble, open to other ideas). Attendance not mandatory, but will be points based off finishing position to encourage participation, teams must remain the same for these events, fill in’s can be from other roosts. These would also ideally be events that we open up to other roosts/refugees to come compete in some team games (looking at you @KMola14), possible support from the dads on organizing these too according to the pods
  • Possible joint roost event down in AZ in the early-early season to kick off a regional rivalry, likely would make our 4ball 2Bird event in the summer a CO/AZ affair, I know those AZ guise want to get away in the summer months
  • If things go as the boys want them to, it’s sounding like teams of 4ish from approved roosts would compete in a nationwide event in the fall, these spots would be filled by: Match play Champ, 2Bird series winning team, runner up of matchplay, or an ‘at large’ bid.
  • Big planning events for us would really be the 2Bird events, that’s where we start for sure as the season long match play almost runs itself, especially with an open schedule

Definitely looking for feedback here so please voice any gripes, additions, subtractions or modifications and let’s get our schedule movin’
