Well, @TCRBrad has a new nickname.
I’ve been trying to make it a thing all summer.
Meanwhile, the outlook for continued golf is good there, since it’s the only way to make money for the time being. The website made it official: 2023 deals and passes are available.
2023 Golf is on at CCC!

Now I feel bad for almost driving on one of the tee boxes there. *in a golf cart
If Brown or anyone else calling the shots wants to win friends and influence people, they might start by paying back taxes on the golf course. With interest, the Cook County Treasurer’s office reports that more than $660,000 is due.
Our roost should buy the taxes, lien the property, and keep it open forever.
If I invest can I live in the basement of the clubhouse and claim squatters rights
Of course you can
Calumet CC should just claim its a sovereign citizen that doesn’t need to pay taxes retroactively or going forward.
It’s an annual post at this point.
If this plan happens how long until @HackMarkham and I can get the chainsaws out and start clearing new artistic tee lines
I look forward to the fall; pumpkin spice, holidays, tree colors, and the annual announcement that CCC is hanging on for dear life but will remain open the next season.
What is this??
Hey, so. I’ve got a friend that’s struggling with the driver. Pull-hooks, block-slices, chloroform balls, it’s a straight mess.
Anyone got a professional to recommend north of 90?
I would remove a significant amount of trees at that place. I can prepare a 200 slide long presentation if needed.
Greetings guys, I’m Mac, here to introduce myself. Found some great courses thanks to this forum. I got randomly paired with Ethan @EConroy419 and Dan yesterday at MP and had a blast - hope to catch some of you on the course in the future. E had a pretty sick back 9 and made an eagle on 11 that disappeared into the hole over the hill. Respect!
What’s up y’all - long time lurker first time poster. Looking forward to getting more involved with the community hopefully starting at War at the Shore!
