I’m the definition of a fair weather golfer. If it’s raining? Pass. Too cold? Pass. I say that to set up the question of are courses going to be too wet tomorrow to play?
It’s not posting season so it’s bonus golf. It’s never too wet for bonus golf.

Really cool to see a lot of 2CGC taking advantage of today’s beautiful weather and getting out and playing some matches.
For anyone unaware, or on the fence you can join the match play tournament at any time. There are no minimum number of matches required to play. You can simply play matches with other members at your convenience for points on the leaderboard here. The leaderboard will then be seeded into a single elimination bracket at the end of June.

Yes this part is not single elimination, and you can still earn points playing 9 hole matches if you’re a busy person. No excuses not to sign up!

Not that anyone was like dying to see my stupid ass, but I don’t like when people bring things up and then ghost it, so I’ll update the boys.
This is no longer happening due to the cost of it all just not quite working in the ol budget / I decided to stay a day and play in San Diego instead.
Appreciate everyone who helped out or expressed some interest in a round. I love Chicago and hope to make it that way for golf sometime. I’m there a lot for hockey, but have never played a round in the area. I’ll keep an eye out for any sort of meetup thing and see if I can’t make it work.

Hey all, just joined the Second City Golf Club Roost (I think?). Name’s John, 26, grew up in the South Suburbs but am staying near Wrigley now.
Looking forward to trying to get some matches in and meeting some new players. As requested in the original post, favorite pizza place would have to be Palermos on 63rd, though I more frequently visit the one on 95th
