As a longtime lurker who just doesn’t have the time to #getinvolved, do our city proud against the HCC
Long time NLU listener. First time poster! I would love to try and sync up more with some Chicago people next year! Some of your HC’s scare me.
If your username is related to what I think it is, you’re in good company.
We’re active in the discord mostly, link below! Introduce yourself and we can get you added to all the channels.
There’s more than one?
Hello everyone! Just moved to Chicago recently from Spain. Big on golf course architecture and currently the assistant golf coach at Roosevelt University. Looking forward to connect with some of you!
What is the main Discord link to join your conversations?

Nevermind, no faith in Flus.
That I get. Did anyone drive the green on 3?
Don’t have a golf trip planned this winter? Want to look forward to something while waiting for warmer weather? I can’t promise the weather will be nice when we tee off in March, but I can promise Mud!
Come sign up for the 5th Annual March Mudness at an iconic course that doesn’t get enough love.
So, I log all my rounds in a spreadsheet and this Christmas, as a gift to my brother (who is a +3 index and likes to make fun of my game), I’m going to present this data with an interactive presentation.
I tried to put in as many detailed data points as I could (course yardage, wind, high temp, wind direction, beer consumption, location, etc.) coupled with the typical baseline golf stats (score, total greens, total fairways, total putts, total birdies, total eagles, etc) to see if we can make some impactful insights. Below is a sample of what kind of insights I’m looking for.
I logged 27 rounds this year so its easy to add more random variables with the amount of time I have by just remembering what happened in the round.
Are there any variables (similar to beer consumption) that I should include in this analysis?

Some would need to add more than Beer.
Aeration status?
Were you able to OLAP? OLAP of course, standing for Optimized Liquid Alcohol Performance.
Time of day? For example teeing off at 5am versus 2pm?
