I was in the same boat, have not played the new renovation and it was a hot mess when I played in 2019…I have heard great things but I think it will get so much play that the renovation will become obsolete in 5-6 years.

Glad to see others dislike Tamarack as much as I do. Never had a positive experience on that golf course, everything about the property is weird and just…off.

Hey folks — long-time NLU fan, first time trying to #getinvolved…
My name is John. I’m not a Chicago native, but I’ve been in here for nearly a decade so it’s definitely home now and I live in Roscoe Village currently.
One of my 2024 goals is to play more than the one or two rounds I have in each of the past couple years. I don’t have many friends who golf here (and am on more of a strapped budget) so I usually just play solo 9s at city courses when I get out. I thought chiming in here and following along was a good way to expand my golf community and hopefully push myself to get out to play more.
When it comes to pizza and beer, I tend to like them all. Since I used to live above Ranalli’s that pizza has a special place in my heart. For cold beers I love a High Life or I’ll try just about any craft beer.
I’ll check out the discord too, but wanted to introduce myself here.
