Roll Call “Chicago” (Part 2)

Nebraska is the fifth best state for public golf I’m pretty sure.

In no particular order:
NC
CA
Ore
Wi
Mi
Nebraska

So 6th?

NC, CA, and OR is tier 1a because you can enjoy the best resorts there year round.
WI, MI, and NE tier 1B cause of winter imo.

If not for Winter I think Wisconsin would have a legit claim for the top spot. With Erin Hills, Whistling Straights, Lawsonia, and the Sand Valley Courses it may soon have more top 100 tracks than Oregon.

Counting is rlly rlly tough.

My last count (clearly room for improvement) NC had most public top 100.

Proud of that, but its also VERY skewed by like 3 places (Wildhorse, Landmand, Praire Club - both courses), All are 3+ hours from each other.

See you then!

@Pinehurts is unavailable and my cousin claimed one of the spots, so one spot still left in the foursome for whoever wants it!

Would anyone wanna get weird midday tomorrow at Spring Valley?

@Kbergen28 almost broke par at park mammoth. @kmcswain made an ace at the summit.

Personally, my NLU highlight of the summer was meeting @MerchCzar at the BMW. I was impressed at how he gracefully “worked the room” by making it a point to introduce himself to people instead of making them make first contact. It’s a small thing, but it really helped break the ice and made conversation feel desired instead of like a work duty.
Our little group talked for 5-10 minutes about food and golf scenes in Chicago and Brooklyn, golfing with our wives, dog parenthood, and no matter what job you have, you’re still not playing as much golf as you’d like to.

Seemed like he was genuinely happy to be there and meet folks who came to say hi.

Welcome back @TheChains.
