Arboretum is so constricted. Frequently need to use 3-wood or less instead of driver to paint within the lines and prevent running through fairway. Rating is 71.7, but slope of 139 tells you that punishment and frustration awaits. It’s a shotmakers course that very much needs but doesn’t have a driving range.
Clubhouse is very nice though. At least there’s simulators in there.

Last day to send in challenges for the golf marathon (need to make sure I bring the correct equipment) any donation to one of the 2CGC members allows you to send me a challenge for one of the holes and gets you into the raffle for a Towel/Tee combo.

I played a few holes with only a putter in a past year and almost hit one of the other participants on a different green

Play on the wrong side of the ball with the club flipped upside down (play wrong handed with a correct handed club)

How about a reverse hole? Drive with putter. Then wedge, iron, putt with driver.

The longest hole is like 130 yards. I’m envisioning Brad showing up with a 1 iron, a putter, and some weird ass wedge no one has ever heard of.
