I think its like 10 for the state Mid-Am. USGA Mid-Am is like 3.4.

I know this very intimately because I am registered for one of these and have a 7 index. I think this cutoff makes some sense because I could make the cut in the qualifier if (massive if) I have a round with a hc net differential of like -5. According to the USGA probability table that happens like 1/300 times, which checks out in my experience considering I’ve managed that exactly once in the last 7 years. In summary, I’m 100% dead money

Yeah, but think about a 7 cap rolling up to mid am qualifying with a caddie, trainer, putting coach, swing coach, dietician, etc. I’m sure there’s more than enough people here to support that.
