So… I drive by Ace Golf on Irving Park often… and I always think they’re out of business, but I called the the other day for a club regrip. Still going. Tough times for small golf shops though.

Ace is a trip, they have gear in there that is so sick, persimmons and metal woods that were imported from Japan in the 90s and has been sitting there against the wall since then. Guy knows his stuff though, not a particularly quick turn around tho

Went to Canal Shores yesterday. For the first week of April, it was in pretty reasonable shape. It’s never going to be lush but it was very playable.

Drink of choice: TBH not a big drinker these days. But all time favorite is Caffrey’s. No longer imported, but was an Irish cream ale, liquid heaven.
Best Chicagoland course: Prairie Landing.
Bonus:
Most frequently played: Billy Caldwell. Used to sneak out before work and play 9. Probably played here 40 or 50 times.

Thanks so much! A labor of love. Will be adding a lot more courses this summer hopefully. Currently working on a course hot dog rating page at the moment… I had about 40 course hot dogs last year, took pictures, and rated them. Maybe 3 people on earth will find this info useful
