Is it actually good or does having any kind of mounding after 3 straight flat holes confuse you into thinking it’s good?
For the record I do like 16.

What if I told you there was a finishing hole that presented the area’s most unique challenge just miles from the very center of the city? A hole that would make you question everything you thought you knew about golf architecture and urban planning as a hole? What if I told you that par was irrelevant?
That’s right. Jackson Park’s 250 yard Par 3.5 18th hole. You must show restraint in waiting for the green to clear after suffering through a 6-hour weekend round where you haven’t had a beer in three hours because there’s no halfway house and you’re down three ways in three presses because some asshole Michigan grad named Jake and a sandbagging 17-cap named Tim have ham-and-egged it around the back nine and all you want to do is go home but there’s a goddamn Taylor Swift concert at Soldier Field so John Baptiste Pointe Dusable Lakeshore Drive is a fucking zoo and your car is parked 11 feet from where you need your 3 wood to land to possibly scratch out a halve in the match and
Shoutout Schaumburg for making the top 5!
Played Wolf Hollow in Lena last year. It’s super fun but impossible to walk. Seeing that on the list is weird, Lake Carroll in Lanark is always showing on these lists but I know of nobody who’s played it. Guess I should make it happen.
Gets the people going
Also Deer Valley is on the list and will be playing it this year.
Um 13 is not flat. Also how dare you disrespect Eldrick’s Hog like that. A shining example of the Muni Template hole.
You have me there.
Pretty believable story, except you will never catch me at JP during peak hours. I only go when I can get around there in under 3.5 hours.
I was deciding where to try to get out Sunday and this conversation feels like fate. Anyone else want to hit JP around 11?
You will literally miss the entirety of the Super Bowl
Was really hoping Saukie was on the list!
its a classic! I might get a GolfPass acount so i can start talking it up and help move it up the list.
2 reviews may do it.
@EConroy419 isn’t this one of your Galena stops?
Looking forward to your first St L muni review.
That’s a little too far south of where I’m at. My go to’s when out near Galena are Woodbine Bend and Wolf Hollow. Both great courses and would make a fun 36 hole day trip in the summer. Lot of time in the car but two fun courses.
We need these shitty lists to keep the uncultured masses from the truly good spots.
Sunset Valley sucks. Tell all your friends!
Normandie is in my crosshairs.
Love the idea of golf negging. We should all coordinate and astroturf at the golf show for maximum impact.
