So amazing seeing the kingdom allowing women in the streets alone and uncovered.
First Dude Perfect, now NLU! Whats next, The Buck Club?
I figured something was afoot when I saw soly flying business class somewhere and thanking the dark lord TC. Hate to see it…
This is a bit, right. They are just pulling everyone’s leg…
New headcover drops but verbiage on slow players updated.
Fill these?
Nope. I canceled 2 of the spots yesterday. They are still available for up to 2 people on the website. 7am Starboard. Currently it is just me and a friend playing at that tee time.
It is my local muni and is fine and I enjoy playing there. There is a lot of water around that gives many of the holes some teeth, also some very tight OB. I play it weekly. As someone else said, par 68.
Both par fives are eagle opportunities but also double opportunities. A few drivable par 4s. Enjoy,I typically use every club in the bag. Thanks for contributing to the AH park district!
Looking forward to it. Was hesitant at first but it should be a good time. Off at 6am, hopefully the 40% chance of rain holds off haha.
Excellent news Chicago! The good guys won handily this weekend, and the Brewer’s Cup is safely heading back home. Bill will be bringing to the Waveland Breakfast club Thursday, and also Calumet.
I don’t want to get too emotional right now, but just want to say I’d go into battle against any roost in any state with you guis!
Stalked all the content all weekend and jealous, way to represent.
Great job guys!
Just popping in to say these tees are awesome, shout to @Kerry for giving me a handful!
But how many beers fit inside it?!
I believe it was one very frothy crispy boi.
Long-ish post warning
Just got back from the Michigan Ryder Cup and still trying to Tylenol away the soreness from all that golf. I cannot recommend The Mines, Pilgrims Run, and Diamond Springs enough to you all. If you ever go make sure to drop a message in the Michigan thread and see if any of those guys will play with you. Everyone I interacted with was so chill and they’d probably all make fine playing partners. As you saw in previous posts we did win pretty handedly but my inability to even get off the bus until the fourth hole of each round meant I put up a whopping .5/12 points. yeesh
As our “competitive” season winds to a close with our four regional qualifiers going off and hopefully getting their quota rounds in soon I wanted to start looking ahead to next year. We already have a pretty solid schedule of events already in place with Mudness, Burban, and MP going on their third iterations next year and occupying the early part of our event schedule. That leaves May, July, August, and September without events. Shepherd’s will hopefully return in 2023 as our fall event and War at the Shores will remain our final event.
I have truly enjoyed planning so many events for you guys over these past couple years. Seeing everyone so happy around the 19th green at Cog in October of 2020 kinda made me forget the world was literally burning around us at that stage of the pandemic. Going forward I don’t think I have the mental bandwidth to plan one event a month anymore. I’ll be starting a new teaching job in the fall in a much more rigorous and hands on district which I am very excited about, but that means I probably won’t be able to be on the phone with the Ravisloe pro nailing down final details on my prep period. I’ll always plan the MP event for early June as a summer kickoff but I’m gonna need your guys’ help filling in those open months in 2023. I’ll also still go to all the NLU captains meetings and be the main point of contact between us and them.
Event planning is really not that hard. Pick a course you want people to see, get 24-28 spots from the course, post a signup sheet and collect entry fees. Boom. Simple. I look forward to simply attending events instead of stressing over them for weeks!
Anyone have a spot open or looking to play this Saturday (preferably tee off before 8am)?
