at least it’ll be really easy for a part-time hourly worker to get up there and change the netting.
Me at a driving range that has objects to hit like those lights

Any practice putting area? Buffalo Grove dome has a space but there’s not a real flat spot I have found to practice technique. Fun for matching line and speed though.
We were driving past IB this morning and my wife asked if she should drop me off. ![]()
Strictly hitting mats. It’s very basic. It feels like the golf part is just to keep people moving through during the day until they build up sports teams and leagues traffic. There’s a reason it’s the Willow Hill Dome and not the Willow Hill Indoor Golf Practice Center.
Not golf related, but Lin Brehmer passed away today. Always enjoyed listening to his playlists driving to work
This was his favorite song

I just heard on the way home that he was fighting cancer. His voice was a constant in my house growing up.
RIP Lin. One of my favorite celebs of all time.
He played golf.
Loved life.
“It’s great to be alive.”
His son is a friend of mine and I’m absolutely gutted for him finding out this morning. Loved Lin’s voice growing up. Sad day for Chicago.
The announcement hit me, road a truck for work in hs and college, commuted to burbs for 8 years and a staple for me. Preset 1 was always XRT for the morning.
I think a lot of people are going to be tuned in at 10 am tomorrow for the tribute. What was great is that he had so much freedom to play songs outside of the usual rotation and they were always so good.
This hole has a very consistent line/speed from the path I drew in. There is even a little black line to place the ball on IIRC.
KABOOM, BABY!
But seriously 25 bucks to hit balls with data and whatever… When else are you going to hit PXG clubs? I’m kinda curious.
If you scuff a ProV just right on the sandpaper textured blocks surrounding, you can get some grip on the ball to hold your lines.
I want nothing to do with PXG clubs, but you hit the nail on the head…that’s a steal for a fitting
I’m sure they’re all available somewhere, but XRT needs to release all the Lin’s Bins as a podcast series. This is all I could find after a quick search of various sources. There are a couple strays on SoundCloud. I’m sure corporate consolidation in the radio business complicates this.
What a voice. As my radio and ad vet uncle would say, “Great set of pipes.”
Broke out the old emergency radio for this morning, get that proper crackle.
vintage Lin here on the intro during “the bear”. Great show too
