I’m game as well depending on the rain forecast.

I am also in weather dependent.

This ‘work all winter, golf all summer’ strategy of mine might need to be re-visited.

Anyone interested in 9:30-10 am tomorrow?

When’s that for ya?

Let’s get a rough timeframe and we can watch the weather before calling for a tee time.

We got enough for at least two foursomes it looks like.

After 9ish which means I could be there by 10ish

Should there be room for this lonely Wisconsinite, I would be interested too.

@WillyK this is the main Chicago thread. The people around here like to know your favorite local pizza spot as well as your favorite cold beer?

Thanks @treeputttim!

I’m not a native Chicagoan so am always hesitant to share my pizza opinions, but I’m a Pequod’s guy. Special shoutout to Ranalli’s Hot Honey Sopressata pizza though.

Cold beer has to be Spotted Cow (ducks head).

Don’t be shy. Perfect answer in my humble opinion.

I like this guy.

I have been a northsider all my golfing life but think I’m moving to Lisle. What should I play down there? I’ve only done Cog 2 and The Preserve in the vicinity. Here’s what I’ve heard is good:
-Glen Ellyn
-Settler’s Hill
-Downers Grove
-Cantigny

Don’t sleep on seven bridges!

There’s a local place here in Park Ridge (Holt’s) that does a hot honey pizza. Pretty good. I recently had a bite of a hot honey Detroit style pizza from a place in Edison Park. It was good but I wasn’t impressed with the crust.

Pequod’s is great. As is Spotted Cow.

Hell, don’t even sleep on one of them! But also steer clear of the golf course.

We’ll have hit River Bend at some point this summer, especially if you’re into sunrise prework golf.

Otherwise, Belmont is a great place to get out, @Xlink has a perm time on early Sunday’s, also have a decent league or two.

Cantigny is close
Arrowhead
Village Greens of Woodridge is a goat farm
Ziegfield Troy is next door and has large range and par 3 course

For practice, Stick with Belmont but avoid Reedy’s / Tee Time on Maple, cash only and the owner is kind of a prick. @BadBrad loves it, apparently so does @HackMarkham

Our crown jewel speaks for itself.
