I voted for The Outfit, but I’d be ok with the Loopers too.
Honestly I’ve always hated the term Second City as it suggests there is a better city.
Fuck New York. It’s not better than Chicago. The pizza is trash and their hot dogs are worse.
Now on a happier note I had a good time at Prairie Isle with @Duff-Daddy today. This kid is a stick, too.
Took a few holes to warm up, but he was on 3 of the par 5s in 2, including the sickest approach on 18 I’ve ever seen to about 10 feet.
Definitely on my list next season for scramble partners!
Course was in really nice shape too. Greens were a little firm for the first hour or so, but overall very good.

Second City is a reference to rebuilding the city after the fire, not a comparison to NYC.

I know that, and you know that, and anyone that knows anything about Chicago history knows that, but everywhere else thinks it means second to New York, just like people think its the Windy City because its actually windy.
It just bugs me.
That said, I’ve played for worse team names plenty of times, so whatever.
And like I’ve said before, no matter what I think we’re gonna be referred to as the Chicago Outfit at some point because the same people that are wrong about Second and Windy also think it’s a mafia city.

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids for the holidays, I recommend.
It took us about 25 min to drive around the perimeter of the course.
Pair it with a drive by of the Home Alone house. 671 Lincoln, Winnetka !!
