You’re from NC? Me too. I’m from 20 minutes south of Raleigh.
As for the CFB/NFL, that’s kind of what I’m banking on. I’m excited for the Ryder Cup but I also want to watch football. I’m sure we can get a TV in a bar, even if it’s off to the side a bit. I’ll call around on Monday or Tuesday and see what’s what.

Yes, the only long green to tee walk is on the Players 9 from hole 4-5 you have to walk across the parking lot. Still very walkable.
