Back 9 at Pine Meadows was really strong. Front 9 was just ok. Those are some massive greens. Nearly got a hole in one on the par 3 12th.

I’ve heard good things about cantigny’s youth program, if you’re up for the drive

I’ve heard nothing but good things with Cantigny’s youth program. I don’t have first hand experience, but will definitely be taking my 6 year old there in a few years.

yup yup… i couldn’t find anything younger than 9 on their site but finally found the thing my dudes would be “pee wee golfers” – but they are all full.

3rd’d - 5 yr nephew did the 4 week session last year - 1 hr on Wednesdays, not ideal for city and work.
Also can only get on the exec course as an adult with your youth.

The Niles Park district has a great coach. Did group lessons with my wife and the coach is wonderful

Has anyone whos played Sunset Valley this spring noticed a terrible pass of play? Got behind a riding 5-some and some other golfers who had a “big money game” on and were lining up their putt for 6 like it was the last putt of the US Open.
I’m not a narc to the ranger, but when do you think a polite comment to management may be required? I live in Highland Park and love taking visitors out to play SV. It’s a great track and I love to see it full, but it should never take more than 4 hrs under any circumstances.

Greetings to all. Newcomer here to the Chicago group. Had a slow round yesterday at Mt Prospect, joined up with the twosome in front of us and we both happened to be wearing NLU gear. He suggested I get on the message boards and get involved.
I’m in Elk Grove and have spent most of the last two years trying to explore all of the courses in the NW suburbs. Hoping to run in to more of you out on the course. Cheers!
