I’ve played three times there this year. First two were ~3:40. Played as a solo yesterday in 2:20.
I mean it can get slow if you’re there at the wrong time or you get caught behind the wrong group. They don’t marshall it very aggressively, if at all. Shepherd’s Crook is really the only place I play that proactively does anything about it (HoE told my group to hurry up once, justifiably).

I’ve also noticed that at Shepherd’s Crook, and granted I was at SV on Sunday afternoon, so that’s on me.
In the N. Suburbs, I’ve had the best luck with pace on the weekend afternoons at Pine Meadow. Don’t know why? I’ve heard others have had some bad experiences.
It makes it awesome! Regardless of score.
