Roll Call “Chicago” (Part 1)

I’ll add wind to this list. That was a brutal day for me as well.

I know this is a super old post but completely second these suggestions. Foxford Hills is criminally underrated.

No worries, and you’re right! Still just as cheap too and was in great shape this year.

Ben,

Welcome good sir!
What is your take on reverse routings? Asking for a friend…

Sounds like Refuge meetup needs to happen at Foxford, Oak Grove and McHenry this summer. Gotta play all the thread hits.

I’d be down to play Oak Grove after the USGA women’s event. Hoping that means the course is in decent shape.

They play on July 7th, so the weekend after. Pencil it in, folks.

I’m just going to sit on the layup fairway on the 11th hole and yell at anyone even thinking about laying up.

We could play that Sunday, 7/11. Slurpee Sunday at Oak Grove, what a combo.

Foxford and McHenry are my two home courses. Happy to help coordinate if it goes that route.

If we need to throw in a “Strapped” vibe course, Cary Country Club is home to me.
That place is SO fun.

I’ve never been there. The LITH/Algonquin/Cary megaplex is a big hole for me.

The elevation change out there alone is worth the trip.

My Dad is from Cary, so the Cary CC + Foxford Hills + Chalet Hills rota is a favorite

July up at Oak Grove sounds since, theoretically, the place will be in its “best” shape around a USGA event.

I’ll take the lead planning Mount Prospect in June and Cog Hill (Rav + Dubs) in that same late September or early October timeslot. Since I am not a Nesticle and had to wait 45 minutes to reply here is there any chance we could get a Whatsapp thread going to plan this stuff? From there we could just toss the details into this thread and then the RACDG Whatsapp thread.

You’ll like it here

(From the War at the Shores event)

Here it is! The reverse routing yardage guide + rules for the event. It’s a PDF and y’all SHOULD be able to download it straight to your phone for the event.

Had a few changes to the tee times as well, so I’ll update and post here shortly…

Fucking is redundant here, as it’s what all dicks are designed to do. I’m shocked that you would apply that insult to Steve Buss though. He’s been delightful in every interaction I’ve had with him. Please explain yourself.
