I’d also like to nominate the 8th at Arboretum for wanting to provide options off the tee…but doing it in a terrible fashion

Anyone braving the cold this weekend? Booked an 8:20 tee time at Glen Eagles for tomorrow morning early this week. Taking a look at the hourly it’s gonna be 37 at tee off time…

I’ve got a 12pm tee time at Chevy Chase out in Wheeling. A totally underrated 2nd tier course in the area. And it’s a five minute drive from Superdawg!

You can take metra directly to ravisloe. It’s a block away from the platform. I believe they’ll even come pick you up if you call and ask.

I think Glenview is the best option of those three. The Cog courses that you’d want to play are often overbooked in peak season. Plus, it’s a good deal more expensive (for an all you can play option). Just my two cents.

Schaumburg is surprisingly great for the cost.

I played it late October last year and it was in the middle of a massive bunker renovation. Like some holes were being worked on during play.

Really?
Another recent sale, think it was $500k. He worked on the greens and ripped out some cart paths that had buckled last year. Was there in July or so and bunkers were gutted but left unfinished.

I definitely would have thought the fact I saw so much work being done last October meant the place would have been been finished by now.

How did you like Fox Lake CC? I live in the area around there (Round Lake) so my go to is Spring Valley (favorite), Renwood or Valley Ridge. Haven’t done fox lake yet.
