Wait, you are working at state apparel? I am so confused.
Yup. Starting this weekend. On weekends.
Lincoln Park this am - it appears they’ve mowed! Lol. Actually the place is not too bad right now. 38-44 for me. Hit the first 7 fairways in reg. Blustery winds picked up & the back nine par 3s are officially in my head. Three too many doubles. Hello, I’m large Icarito.
Forecast for Sunday afternoon looks dry. Anyone up for 9 holes somewhere? Golden gate? Mariners point?
Can’t this weekend, but speaking of Mariners Point, I went out there to hit balls Thursday night for the first time and loved it. Range is huge with tons of targets, mats are decent, option for grass, big short game area, practice green is wonky but they actually have it rolling pretty decent, 9 holer looks fun and in good shape, All with lights.
Who’s up for a weeknight league out there? Looks like they have tee times through 8pm
I have been meaning to check it out…would definitely be interested in a weeknight league.
I signed up for the 11th plus one for myself and a buddy if that’s alright.
Hey guis….doing the Lord’s work today in this shitty weather.
Any member of the RACDG, NORCAL Chapter who wants to be added to the WhatsAppText thread we have going, please DM me you phone number. Cheers.
Also, anyone want to play this week before courses are shut down for awhile?
I signed up for the 11th
Come up to Fountaingrove Wed. am. Tee off at 8:20 am.
I am in. I will be there. I would normally stay 6 feet away from your ugly ass in normal circumstances but moreso on Wednesday.
We can walk, ya?
Mmmmmmm. I like that shoutout.
I get that a lot.
I think folks are going to need to take a little break from golf.
All non-essential gatherings of any size are now banned, along with non-essential travel “on foot, bicycle, scooter, automobile or public transit.” People may travel for shopping for necessary supplies, accessing health care, and providing aid to family and friends who need assistance, and for non-residents, returning to their home outside the Bay Area. Airports, taxis, and public transit — including BART — will remain operational, but only for essential travel and people are expected to keep six feet apart when possible.
People in the six counties will still be able to go shopping for items such as food and household supplies, and seek medical care. They will be able to go outside for walks or exercise as long as they keep six feet away from anyone they don’t already live with.
What do we think the punishment is for sneaking on to empty golf courses?
Well, if you walk there, you’re probably just trespassing. The order supposedly says walking to exercise is okay.
But you’re not supposed to even travel by car, and the order calls for the sheriff or chief of police to “ensure compliance.”
It doesn’t apply (yet) in Sonoma County. But, I’m guessing we’ll want to be like the cool kids in Marin and join in the order. . .
touch base tmrw, kid
