Well there was only 21 x on the 11th. I’m sure we can book more but I’m (we) are responsible for whatever number we tell them. So if we say 40 and people drop out and we have 28 or whatever then we have to pony up

Incredibly jealous of this next meetup, I’m down in LA for a wedding that weekend. I am however looking to try and play most weekends from here on out - I’m in the Peninsula (Redwood City) so if anyone ever wants to link up I’m down. Been playing with coworkers mostly and would like to get more involved in the Refuge side!

I just did a deep dive on this place, and it got me all kinds of fired up. This event has moved way up on my Refuge 2020 list. I have actually spent MANY weekends wine tasting in the Russian River Valley over the last 20 years, and only became aware of this course from the Refuge. @anon24718094, you need to get in on this trip, join @GremlinGolfer and me in the treehouse, and guide us through a little wine tasting in our off-golf time.

I played Northwood right after New Years… foggy and 39 degrees. Absolute magic up there. I will try to make it up for the event.

No, no. @Bagger arranged 24 tee times, but the place is wide open. They only normally do tee times 2 weeks in advance. There will be room for anybody who wants to come.

Before the date was established for this, I committed to a fishing trip that weekend with a client. Thus, I’m out on the Knock-Around at Northwoods unless the fishing trip falls through for reasons beyond my control.
Bummer, as I was looking forward to getting the gang back together and having y’all play my home course too.
I’ll be monitoring the situation in case anything changes.
