Can’t report on the beer prices, but when I asked the kid in the snack shack if there was a spot to fill my water bottle he said just take something out of the fridge haha
Fairways knows exactly what it is and executes that perfectly.
Anyone play twin creeks recently? Have a soft spot for that place since that’s where I learned to play. I remember it always being in really good shape
The NIT champion is coming to NorCal. Hark!!!
I’m about 15 mins from Nwood, always up for a day shaping shots around the trees. Bodega/ Northwood double is a good day too.
Randomly got paired up on the tee at Baylands Monday for a twilight, post work round with @McStruggles. Had an awesome time out there
edit: even though his Luka takes were egregious
Ill let you know when we pick a day for Northwood and we can get out!
some insta investigation led me here
Yikes!
Really unfortunate my plans got ruined. It was gunna be such a good day.
Good on Bayonet. Truly keeping out the riff raff.
TYFYS. Was wondering what that post was about.
Going to Poppy in a month.
bumping this - if you’re looking to join StoneTree, Crow Canyon or Boulder Ridge let me know and i can help
In the interest of helping a brother out I’m a Bay Club member and I adore Boulder.
come play stonetree sometime! that’s the one i directly manage
I get up there a few times a year at least, I’ll reach out next time.
Whats the consensus of Carmel Valley Ranch? Heading down to Monterey in a few weeks with 2 other couples (1 has never been before, myself & the other have been plenty) and we’re going to play 1 round of golf(<$200). We are between Poppy, Quail, or Carmel Valley Ranch. I’m probably leaning Poppy because I like the course & think it is a very true Monterey golf experience in the setting + weather, but have never played CVR so it piques my interest.
I see it’s pretty short on the card but I can’t imagine it’s easy? Any reason we should do CVR over Poppy?
It’s not my favorite course but you could also play Pacific Grove. Quirky course but it’s under $100 and has some nice pacific views for 8 or so holes.
Would recommend Poppy over that though. You could also play Bayonet or Black Horse.
