purp’s cartersville CC rec is definitely right. But without a full half day open to get up there, fit, and get back, logistically could be a challenge.
Paul at Bobby Jones GC is solid. I did a wedge fitting with him. Would probably be the best true Atlanta location with the combo of technology (trackman) plus you’re going to hit indoors onto a range. So not simulator only.
Yeah , haha that was me. I’ll let you know when I firm up my schedule this morning.
Ill be staying in Athens probably playing Monday afternoon and maybe an evening nine Wednesday if the schedule allows, rough on the aeration…but I probably putt better on aerated bent grass than I do Bermuda.
Hello all, I’m looking for a recommendation on a swing instructor. I live in midtown but I have no issue driving out deep into the suburbs.
This might be a silly concern but I don’t want to end up with an instructor who operates by immediately rebuilding everyone from the ground up to fit that instructor’s idea of the perfect swing. I’m not looking to go pro, I’m just a 15 handicap hoping to get down to closer to a 10. I’m just looking for someone for give me a thing or 2 to think about and work on based on the swing that I already have.
Thanks for any recommendations or even any extra advice as I’ve never had a lesson before.
