Hello everyone, newly minted Nest member looking to #getinvolved in the ATL NLU community. I looked back at the roost info and definitely want to be a part of Peachtree Collective. I’m currently living in Sandy Springs but starting a new job in Old Fourth Ward in 2022 so I may move into town. I play a lot at Chastain Park out of convenience (and $) but will gladly play any low or mid-range course within an hour of the city. I’ll be off the first week of the New Year if anybody wants to play.
Would love to join, but the in laws are in town for the holidays so I’m spoken for. To make matters worse, I slipped on the wet turf this past Saturday morning and did my ankle something good…I’m really looking for an opportunity to meet up with some other local Refugees/Peachtree Collective homies for once. On a completely unrelated side note, I was informed that there was a small earthquake reported in the Atlanta area on Saturday morning, ironically about the same time as I hit slipped and hit the ground, registering about 1.7 on the Richter scale. Completely unrelated of course, so don’t even try and connect the two.
Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays greetings from Denmark with little mood photo on a fun drivable par 4 with an ancient Viking grave guarding the small green. Sick firmness on greens…. Rock hard frozen…
I need to see more Scandinavian golf iconography
thats a sticker waiting to happen!
You spoil us Jan! Different meaning to ‘natural’ mounding right there.
Just in case you missed the news…we did it people. We are an official roost.
LFGoooooooooooooooooooooo
Antico 100% for pizza. It’s also BYOB restaurant which can be fun.
Brunch - Buttermilk Kitchen.
If you’re gonna be over by midtown HS, head over to The Local and order some spicy Korean bbq wings. You won’t regret it.
If you need any more recs happy to help.
Killer, thanks!
Last rec I’d be looking for would be a nice rooftop or patio near downtown to have a few beers in the early afternoon before tailgating. It’s only a month into winter here in Minneapolis, but even 55 on a patio with a beer sounds like heaven right now.
Skyline Park at Ponce City Market is probably best rooftop bar in town. Little east of downtown
The Hotel Clermont has a great rooftop bar, although I think it’s $5 to go up unless you eat something at Tiny Lou’s
Someone mentioned Cypress which has a great outdoor patio. Biergarten would be good as well. SkyLounge is a rooftop bar next to the stadium.
Glen hotel was awesome… granted that is 2 kids ago for me lol
Thanks, everyone! I will report back and rooting strongly for the Peachtree collective in your regionals.
I love that place. @fanofrockytop we gotta get back there with Am Tour!
Cuscowilla is so good!
Place is tough in the winter. Played 36 on Wednesday and out of a group of 8 low single and scratch guys there were only 3 scores below 80.
Is the place ever not tough?
